Good Replacement part, comes with no directions

The mirror itself is what it needs to be, a direct OEM style replacement part. It does not however, come with directions. For those of you that may not be mechanics I will give a brief rundown of what to do. In all reality, no matter what your skill level it should only take about 15 minutes. All directions are done with the door open. Start by removing the power adjustment knob. Gently pull on it moving your hand side to side and it will come out. Then remove the triangular cover piece by placing a thin straight edge behind it and prying it off. Disconnect the switch connector and the mirror connector and place the switch and cover to the side. There are two bolts that hold on the mirror, a t25 (torx) and a 10 mm. Remove the 10 mm bolt first by using a shallow socket. Then remove the torx bolt which is located on the inside of the door (not behind the plastic). Once you have done this simply reverse the steps to install the new mirror.

Focus driver side mirror

Unfortunately, this is the second replacement drivers side mirror I've had to put on this car. The fit of this one was not quite as good as the last replacement mirror I purchased( not quite sure the brand of that one ), but it still fits in well enough that you would never notice a difference. Its easy enough to mount, and the controls work just fine.

For the price, you really can't go wrong here.

Perfect fit

Product arrived just as described. I was a little nervous because I didn't want the hassle of returning it and waiting. Makse sure you get the right one if you have power control. If you have a 02 Ford Focus and are unsure if you can do the job, you can. It is super easy. It will actually take you less time, cost you less money, and be less effort if you do the job yourself. I am no mechanic but my 9 year old daughter could have done this job. Total job took 15 minutes. Don't be that car with the mirror hanging by the cord!
