4it works
By R. M. Reasonover
i used this to help a lady on the side of the interstate a couple of weeks ago (i keep it in the car) - saw someone else use a similar one and thought it was a good idea since it is way quicker than the jack that comes with the car - being in a precarious spot with high speed traffic proved to be the time for a quick jack - it was very fast, had the wheel/tire up in just a few pumps of the handle with little to no effort - however, a slight incline made it difficult until i got the wheels in the right direction, so it isn't for every situation BUT it works great for what it was intended - quality is good (sturdy/kind of heavy) and it's easy to use - good value

4Works fine but overpriced here
By z3 owner
After I bought it I found the same thing at walmart and autozone for $22-25. I learned the hard way that while amazon is always cheaper for some things, it's not true for all things.

But the jack worked fine. I bought it to change the oil on my 2006 Volvo s40 and 1997 BMW Z3 1.9L. Of course I used jack stands in addition to this jack but it got the job done as far as lifting is concerned. It gets high enough to get the job done. The release is steady as well you just have to turn it very gently or your car will come down to quick.

5Not for low cars or tall SUVs
By Paul
It deserves five stars as for $37 shipped with a case this is a steal

It's not really low enough to be used on my Miata MX-5 and had be used on the sub-frame of our Honda CR-V as it would not jack the regular jacking point high enough but that's where I put Jack Stands anyway. With the Miata I'll probably drive one wheel onto a 4x8 piece of wood first, then this jack should fit under ok

If you have a regular car or small SUV you should be fine. The jack works great.
