Two Thumbs Up...Bumper Bully Rocks !!!

Street parking in the Bronx is like playing bumper cars. People have no respect for someones car and will bump and maim your bumper just to squeeze into a spot. I was the same way when driving my old Honda, I didn't care to bump into someones car - I just needed to park my car. When I finally traded-in my civic the dealer had a rough time removing the license plate bolts because they were rusted and bent out of shape. I am now the proud owner of a new Lexus LS460 and decided that I need to protect my car bumper from drivers like me. After talking to friends and reading reviews I decided on the Bumper Bully. What ultimately was the deciding factor was the quality of the materials and steel reinforced security straps. Before purchasing online, I went to a local parts store to see and touch the products. The Bumper Bully felt thicker and more rubbery than the others. Did not mind spending a few extra dollars for a superior product.

NOT FOR A VW BEETLE

Many reviews written about how great the product is - and I can attest to the quality (and fast shipping). Unfortunately, I could not find any information prior to ordering as to its suitability for a VW Bug. Therefore, allow me to be the first to review that aspect: It does not fit. I think with a bit of custom cutting, it could be made to work. It would be handy if the description for this item clearly stated what models of cars are not suitable for this particular product. Oh, well ....

Good product, but wish it was a bit longer to cover the corners of the bumper.
