These LEDs are great

I've ordered several sets of these and have used them for marker lights and license plate lights on both of my cars. I haven't had an issue with any of these LEDs - they all work great. LEDs require the correct polarity, so if you have troubles getting them to light up, take them out and "flip them over" to install them the "other way" in the socket. That's probably the issue. If you still have issues you can test them manually with any 12V source. If they check out, clean the contacts for your socket with some electrical contact cleaner.

bright and white

These look great. They are bright or brighter than the original bulbs. I just installed these to replace two bulbs that had burned out over the license plate in my Mitsubishi. The only problem was the connection 'blade' is a little thinner than the glass bulbs so the lights made intermittent contact on my particular connectors. I added a thin layer of solder to both sides of the new LED blade with a soldering iron and wa-la, the connection now is fine. One more note: these lights are actually small chips and have no glass protection like a bulb. So you'd want to be sure they don't come in contact with anything metal on the car.

Very nice

They are quite bright, brighter than the stock bulbs, and nice and short. While they were brighter than the stock license plate bulbs, I decided to use them in a different location due to the low clearance and directional light.
